Patient with bad recurrent corneal erosion OU.
Eclipse placed first, patient went bad again after 2 weeks. Second application of Eclipse was necessary. Photos after second application. Patient was sent home with AMT drops. Wait a week then put the drops twice a day for 2 days. Wait another week and put the drops again twice a day for 2 days.
This case highlights the challenges of managing recurrent corneal erosion OU and the need for repeated therapeutic intervention. Following relapse after the initial treatment, a second application of Eclipse combined with adjunctive AMT drops supported improved corneal stability. The staged treatment approach resulted in progressive healing and symptom control, demonstrating the value of continued regenerative support in recurrent conditions.
